The Small Wonders Collection celebrates the often-overlooked life that surrounds us and our deep connection with the natural world. Inspired by a summer spent wandering the ancient woodlands and meadows of Hampstead Heath, and by British hedgerows, gardens, riversides and wild countryside, the collection honours the plants, insects and creatures that quietly hold the land together, the small architects of balance and beauty. This storied landscape, which inspired The Chronicles of Narnia, carries the spirit of an enchanted wood, where imagination and reality gently blur.

Echoes of Gemma’s childhood in rural Warwickshire run through each piece, from bramble-lined paths to sunlit fields and hidden woodland corners. Every design is a tiny narrative, hand-sculpted with lifelike precision, re-imagining small heroes of the forest as talismanic jewels to be worn close, reminding us that even in the wildest places, small wonders sustain the world.

Gemma Roe, a British designer of international renown, infuses her sculpted jewellery with a harmonious union of art and nature-inspired charm. Using recycled materials of 24kt gold plated bronze and sterling silver, alchemised from her wax sculptures using the 6000 year old technique of lost-wax casting. It is her distinct artistic storytelling and hand-sculpted texture that has become her signature.
